Daughter of a bush pilot in rural Australia, Nimble-wit landed her first job in advertising in a tin pot newspaper in the middle of nowhere.  When that didn’t seem to be amounting to much, the big smoke beckoned and stints in the advertising departments at top fashion magazines MODE (now Harper’s Bazaar) and marie claire Australia followed, giving her insight into a world of publishing and a thirst to explore even more. 

As she struck out to seek her fortune in the world, a yearning for more would eventually see her sacked in Turkey, detained at a border crossing in Spain and deported from Portugal.  

A husband and two ankle biters later, Nimble found herself in sophisticated, leafy Parisian suburbs singing off tune to classes of francophone children.  In the search for an original way to teach English to offspring who were constantly correcting her French - Smart Arts came to life. 

With her feet firmly planted in the land of Marie-Antoinette, she currently resides near Paris.
